Ordering
How do I order?
Build your order on our order page and send it to us on WhatsApp, or simply message 083 467 4564. We confirm every order and send you an invoice.
How much notice do you need?
Two days. Everything is baked fresh to order, so we need two days’ notice for every order.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order a single box or several.
Can I send a box as a gift?
Yes. Tick “This order is a gift” on the order page and tell us who it is for. For office gifts, see gifts & corporate.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Let us know on WhatsApp as early as you can. Everything is baked to order, so once baking has started we may not be able to change it.
Collection and payment
Where do I collect?
Orders are collected in Overport, Durban. We send you the exact address and a map pin when we confirm your order.
When can I collect?
We agree a collection date and time with you when we confirm your order.
How do I pay?
You pay on collection, by EFT, card or cash. Nothing is charged on this website.
Our bakes
Are your bakes halal?
Yes. Everything we bake is halal, made with halal ingredients in a halal kitchen.
How big are the cookies?
Our New York style cookies are about 10cm edge to edge: thick, soft-centred and generous.
Do any products contain nuts?
Our Choc Chip Walnut cookies contain walnuts, and all our bakes are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, wheat, dairy and eggs. Please tell us about any allergies when you order.
Do you bake things that are not on the menu?
Sometimes. See the Clumsy Kitchen for recent bakes, and ask us on WhatsApp.
Saturday Bun Box
What is in the Saturday Bun Box?
Two each of our Swedish Cardamom, Swedish Cinnamon and Vanilla Custard buns: six buns for R210.
When is the Bun Box?
Every second Saturday, starting Saturday 31 October. See the drop dates.
When must I order a Bun Box?
By the Thursday before the drop Saturday.
Events, gifts and wholesale
Do you do cookies for weddings and events?
Yes. We wrap cookies individually and add a custom sticker with your names, date or logo at no extra cost. See events & weddings.
Who prints the stickers?
Our partners PAL Screen Printers in Durban, in full colour on waterproof vinyl.
Do you supply cafés?
Yes, at trade prices below our retail menu. See wholesale for cafés.
